Back To The Future
TCT were excited when asked to assist with the logistics for this biennial conference, held locally at St Margaret’s College, Christchurch.
With the ‘Back to the Future’ theme this conference was simultaneously future focused and mindful of past wisdom. It embraced moving mathematics and statistics education forward with all its possibilities of incorporating innovation, expanding knowledge and technology, while at the same time, looking back, learning from and honouring what has gone before.
Deliberately broad, this theme provided speakers and delegates an opportunity to be both reflective and future-looking, to consolidate, regenerate and push the boundaries of mathematics and statistics education. ‘Back to the Future’ offered a thought provoking, exciting and fun programme.
TCT managed the logistics and took care of all the details, leaving the conference committee to focus on the programming. With our experience and local knowledge, we co-ordinated the registrations, sponsorship and exhibition components to ensure a very successful conference of 400 plus attendees.
