The Heat is On is the 22nd Annual Conference and AGM of INGENIUM.  Each year this event becomes more professional and more worthwhile for all participants.  It also contributes greatly to building energy within our industry and to making INGENIUM the widely recognised professional body for Engineers for Public Assets it is today.

Luke Meys

Conference Convenor

This year’s theme The Heat is On is focused on the pressure to deliver under tight budgets, pressure to deliver quality services in a resource constrained market and expectations to meet the challenge of new legislation to name but a few, adding the heat to our sector.

The Hamilton based Organising Committee have secured an eclectic range of keynote speakers you will find interesting, informative and motivating. We are extremely keen to ensure that you all leave this Conference with a feeling of great enthusiasm for all that is on offer here.

The technical papers offer a wide variety of subjects presented by our members.  The tours and social programme aims to exceed any expectations built up in past conferences, showcasing Hamilton and the Waikato region and ensuring maximum time for networking and information sharing.

We sincerely thank our loyal sponsors who invest their time, energy, resources and their people and contribute greatly to the success of the Conference.  We appreciate your input.

We are confident you will find the three days in Hamilton a rewarding and fun experience and that you come away full of new ideas and  a new perspective of what the Waikato has to offer.
