FEES INGENIUM Member and Elected Rep Delegates$960 + gst = $1,080(Also IPWEA and APWA members). Includes attendance at all business sessions, Friday afternoon tours, breakfasts, teas, lunches, social and evening functions as detailed in the programme. New Member Delegates $960 + $160 + gst = $1,260 Join INGENIUM now (annual membership is $175 + gst) and pay members registration fee. Includes attendance at all business sessions, Friday afternoon tours, breakfasts, teas, lunches, social and evening functions as detailed in the programme and membership for remainder 08 / 09. Non Member Delegates$1,136 + gst = $1,278Includes attendance at all business sessions, Friday afternoon tours, breakfasts, teas, lunches, social and evening functions as detailed in the programme. One Day $456 + gst = $513 Includes attendance at one day’s business sessions, Friday afternoon tours, breakfast, teas, and lunch as detailed in the programme for the selected day. Late Fee$88 + gst = $99Registrations due by 28 April 2008. Registrations received after this date will incur $99 late fee. How to Register Complete the registration form accompanying the registration brochure and return it with your fees to: INGENIUM Conference, The Conference Team, P O Box 20 051, Christchurch 8543 or fax to: 03 359 2602 Cheques should be made payable to ‘INGENIUM Conference’. Confirmation of receipt of your registration and payment will be forwarded. Early Registration Your early registration is appreciated. This helps the Organising Committee with planning and ensures the tours and accommodation you select are available. The first 50 delegate registrations will receive a bottle of local wine at the Registration Desk in Gisborne (fees must be paid in full). Social Programme As a registered delegate or accompanying partner we assume you will attend all social functions listed in the Programme (except Wednesday evening’s pre conference dine around). As a courtesy please advise The Conference Team before Conference of any functions you will not attend. CancellationA cancellation fee of $99 will be charged after 28 April 2008. Thereafter refunds will be at the discretion of the Organising Committee and processed after the Conference. No refunds will be made for late arrival or early departure whatever the cause. Registrations may be reassigned to another person from the same organisation without penalty. Please notify The Conference Team of any changes prior to the Conference. Insurance All insurance is the responsibility of registrants. The Conference Organising Committee, INGENIUM, Emerald Hotel, Events Centre and The Conference Team accept no liability or responsibility for death or illness, or injury / accident to or financial loss by any person attending the conference, whatever the cause. For the Hynds Paper of the Year competition, full papers will be required by Friday 11 April. Successful entries will be advised the week following. Hynds Paper of the Year competition is open to INGENIUM members only. Please note if your paper is accepfted for a Session within the conference programme and is later selected for presentation in the Hynds Paper competition, it will be withdrawn from the original Session. Hynds Paper of the Year - GENERAL INFO Hynds Paper of the Year - RULES CALL FOR PAPERS FOR CONFERENCE - NOW CLOSED Thank you to all our 67 submissions - an INGENIUM record! No further abstracts will be accepted. All authors have now been advised. General InformationPresentation time for all papers will be 30 minutes including question time. Sessions will run on the Friday and Saturday mornings. Either the Paper OR the presentation must be made available by 16 May 2008 for review by the Planning Committee. Final papers/presentations will be made available to delegates via the INGENIUM website. This year selected presenters can compete for: Best Paper This will be judged by the Organising Committee. Only Papers will be judged (not PowerPoint presentations.) Papers need to be submitted by 16 May 2008 for consideration. Best Presentation This will be judged by the delegates. The winner of each category will receive a Gisborne Gift Pack, sponsored by Hynds Pipe Systems, presented on the Saturday afternoon.
The 2008 INGENIUM Excellence Awards will be presented in Gisborne at the 2008 INGENIUM Conference (to be held in June 2008). The INGENIUM Excellence Awards are for infrastructure projects (where "projects" is defined in the broadest sense) and entries are welcome from any organisations in NZ involved in the field of public infrastructure. For the 2008 Awards there will be 4 categories: (a) Physical works projects under $1 million, (b) Physical works projects over $1 million, (c) Projects of investigations, reporting, systems, processes, etc, and (d) Asset Management Practice. For categories (a), (b) and (c) entries are judged mainly on the following criteria: economics, environmental, social, cultural, consultation and innovation. For category (d) entries are judged on the application of the concepts and processes in the NAMS manuals. If you would like to receive the detailed information on the awards, please contact INGENIUM Business Operations Manager, Angela Tempest, by email (angela@ingenium.org.nz). You will need this detailed information in order to enter. Entries close at 5pm on Friday 28 March 2008.
